Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson sent tequila to a 101-year-old fan

The 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle' actor jokingly warned Marie Grover to "sip" his Teremana Tequila, rather than use the alcohol to "do shots" as he sent her a birthday message, during which he revealed the gift he'd sent

Sharing a photo of his elderly fan clutching two bottles of his alcohol, he wrote on Instagram: "HAPPY BEAUTIFUL 101 BIRTHDAY to Grandma Grover!

"Good to see you received my gift of @teremana bottles and the card I wrote you!

"Remember to SIP the Mana, grandma and it’s not time to do shots.

“Happiest of birthdays — what an amazing and blessed life. Enjoy your mana, Marie! DJ.(sic)"

This isn't the first time Dwayne has surprised the centenarian on her birthday.

Last year, he was introduced to her when Jamie Klingler tweeted the former wrestler to ask him to wish her best friend's grandmother a happy 100th birthday.

She wrote at the time: "She will lose her mind. When we were in high school (25 years ago) she would wear a rock sweat shirt and tell us how handsome he is."

Hours later, the 'Moana' star replied: "What?? First I’m hearing of this! Who’s turning 100? Beautiful age! What do you need, Jamie?”

He then sent a video to Marie, in which he sang happy birthday and wished her “a huge congratulations on 100 years.”

The 48-year-old star launched Teremana Tequila earlier this year and previously explained the origins of its name.

Announcing the drink last October, he wrote at the time: "The name is official:

“Ladies and gents, I proudly bring you, TEREMANA TEQUILA

“TERA is meant to represent “Terre” which means of the earth and MANA is our powerful Polynesian spirit that guides us.

    “Spirit of the earth. (sic)”
