Police say everyone has a part to play to keep our roads safe, after four deaths this long weekend

Police say everyone has a part to play to keep our roads safe, after four deaths this long weekend

There was only one fatality for the entire Labour Weekend last year.

National road policing manager, Acting Superintendent Gini Welch, says there are high volumes of traffic this long weekend.

She's imploring people to keep speeds down, pay attention to their surroundings and conditions and watch following distances, to ensure they arrive alive.
