An auction of Banksy art-works in Auckland tonight is expected to garner global attention

An auction of Banksy art-works in Auckland tonight is expected to garner global attention

Eight certified prints from the British street artist will go up for sale at Parnell's International Art Centre.

It includes a print of the 2003 print "love is in the air" which is expected to fetch up to 250-thousand dollars.

Gallery Director Richard Thomson says they've built a reputation in Australasia of being a Banksy reseller.

He says there's only about a dozen auction houses worldwide which sell them.
