    Julia Garner feels “really lucky” to have spent lockdown with her husband, Mark Foster

    The ‘Ozark’ star tied the knot with the Foster the People frontman at the end of 2019, and whilst their first year of marriage has been largely spent indoors as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, Julia says they’ve had a “great” time


    She said: “Honestly, it’s been great. We’ve been really lucky. We know people who’ve had Covid but no one [who] got it [and] had to go to the hospital.

    “My husband is a musician and he was supposed to go on tour. We were both going to be super busy after we just got married. Now I understand why people have to have honeymoons. We were not going to do that. We were just going to go straight to work, but we got time together at home. We had a really nice, really long honeymoon.”

    Julia, 26, also detailed what a typical day looks like for the newlyweds, who spend most of their time in lockdown binge-watching TV shows.

    When asked what she and Mark have been watching, she told WSJ. Magazine: “We started watching the NXIVM doc [‘The Vow’]. It’s so crazy. All those volleyball things, I don’t know why, I think it’s kind of funny. Every episode’s like, ‘So I went to go meet Keith. We were playing volleyball. We met at the volleyball court.’ Volleyball’s really random.”

    The actress - who is best known for her role as Ruth Langmore in the hit Netflix crime drama series, ‘Ozark’ - tied the knot on December 28 last year, just months after they got engaged during a camping holiday in Yellowstone National Park in the US in May that year.

    An insider simply said at the time: "They got engaged when they were in Yellowstone."

    The couple have opted to keep their romance off social media most of the time.

    However, Julia posted some pictures from their romantic trip, in which she referred to her other half as "my love", and also showed off her diamond engagement ring.

    She wrote on Instagram: "Montana on film.

    "Taken by my love @mistersmims. Missing this magic light and place. Happy Friday."
