A woman sentenced for running a multimillion-dollar synthetic cannabis ring in Christchurch has lost an appeal against her convictions

A woman sentenced for running a multimillion-dollar synthetic cannabis ring in Christchurch has lost an appeal against her convictions

Fei He owned a dairy in Sockburn that continued to sell synthetic cannabis after it was made illegal in 2014.

She admitted her part in the operation during a trial last year, after the crown withdrew money laundering charges.

But she claims her lawyers pressured her to plead guilty.

In a judgment released today the Court of Appeal dismissed her appeal, as there was no credible evidence for her claims.
