A former journalist has been charged after planning a terrorist attack in the Queenspand city of Bundaberg

James Waugh (war) was arrested after police raided his home earlier this month and found electronic devices, allegedly containing incriminating evidence.

A joint Queensland and federal police investigation was sparked after the 29-year-old allegedly made threats towards a member of the public in October.

Waugh is now behind bars, after having court yesterday.
