    An Auckland man's been found guilty of raping his ex-girlfriend 16 years ago


    36-year-old Craig Koning has been found guilty by majority verdict on two rape charges from 2004, when he was dating Amy Coronakes.

    Coronakes waived her right to name suppression as the trial began last week.

    A majority of jurors believed her when she said Koning raped her in his Auckland apartment when he was 19 and she was 18.

    Koning will be sentenced in the new year.
