Iggy Azalea is planning her son's first birthday party five months in advance

The 30-year-old rap star announced in June that she'd given birth to a son with Playboi Carti named Onyx Carter, and even though his birthday is still months away, that hasn't stopped Iggy from already turning her attention to the big bash

The blonde beauty wrote on her Twitter account: "Am I extra for planning my baby’s birthday party 5 months in advance?

"It’s just a mood board! (sic)"

Iggy announced the arrival of her son via an Instagram post following weeks of speculation that she had given birth.

She said on the photo-sharing platform at the time: "I have a son. I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize I'm always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world (sic)"

The chart-topping star also admitted she was keen to keep her son away from the spotlight.

She wrote: "I want to keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret and I love him beyond words."

Meanwhile, Iggy - who is no longer with Carti - previously conceded that 'Fancy', her 2014 collaboration with Charli XCX, marked a turning point in her life.

The catchy single enjoyed chart success around the world and Iggy confessed that it changed her life in "every possible way".

Speaking about the impact of the single, she shared: "I can't walk down the street anymore, and I have to be very selective when I grocery shop.

"I went from having nothing to having everything I could possibly want. It's weird. It's almost scarily easy to quickly forget that you had nothing."
