Tyler Perry has donated $100,000 to the legal defence fund of Breonna Taylor‘s boyfriend
The medical worker was shot and killed in her own home in March by plainclothes police officers in Louisville, Kentucky, and Tyler has now thrown his financial support behind Kenneth Walker‘s legal fight, donating a huge sum of money to the GoFundMe page launched on Walker‘s behalf

The shooting occurred when police forced entry into Taylor's apartment as part of an investigation into drug dealing operations.
Walker claims the police didn't warn them before entering the property and he therefore assumed they were intruders, firing a warning shot at them.
In response, the officers fired more than 30 shots in return, fatally injuring Taylor.
In October, Jon Mattingly - one of the officers involved in the shooting - sued Walker for assault, battery, and emotional distress for shooting for shooting him in the leg during the raid.
A GoFundMe page was subsequently set up in his support.
The page reads: "It’s outrageous for one of the men partially responsible for all that, to sue the man who endured it.
"The raid that killed Breonna Taylor was poorly conceived, nightmarishly ex ecuted, and hastily covered-up. The subsequent grand jury proceedings were farcical and staged."
Tyler, 51 - who is among the best-paid people in the entertainment industry - donated the money in four separate transactions on Sunday (13.12.20) to help Walker surpass his $100,000 target, according to Deadline.
The shooting sparked protests against police brutality and racism across the US earlier this year, and numerous celebrities have voiced their support for Walker in recent months.
Cardi B was recently presented with the Billboard Woman of the Year award by Taylor’s mother after she called for justice in the case.
Tamika Palmer said: "Cardi has used her platform to spread the truth about what happened to Breonna and to reaffirm that Black women’s lives matter."
