A new face at the head of our Productivity Commission

Cabinet's agreed a director at economic research consultancy BERL, Dr Ganesh Nana - will take over as chair in late January.

Nana says the move will be a wrench and go outside his comfort zone - but it's an opportunity he can't ignore.

He'll take up the job for a first term of five years.
