Healthy gut bacteria could be a game changer for countless New Zealanders

Auckland University researches have found administering healthy gut bacteria to obese teens, eliminates metabolic syndrome.
Between a third and a half of adults suffer from the syndrome, which can pose great risk of heart disease, stroke or type two diabetes.
Professor Wayne Cutfield has high hopes for the procedure.
He says the combination of the gut bugs and diet might work a lot better than diet alone.
