Reflecting on 2020, Green Party co-leader James Shaw says he didn't fear the green school debacle could seriously harm his party

Reflecting on 2020, Green Party co-leader James Shaw says he didn't fear the green school debacle could seriously harm his party

Shaw came under fire after backing 11.7 million dollars in shovel-ready-project funding - for the private school.

He says while there was a political firestorm and a lot of people were very annoyed with him - it wasn't a vote-switching issue, and he apologised for his misjudgement.

Shaw says politicians are bound to make mistakes.
