    The effects of a knee injury remain, but Billy Stairmand feels good enough to shoot for another national title

    The 31-year-old is competing at the nationals in Piha , looking for a record extending eighth win.

    Stairmand suffered a knee injury early last year, which he's still not 100 per cent recovered from.
