Doug Pederson, who led the Philadelphia Eagles to Super Bowl glory at the start of 2018, has been fired by the NFL franchise

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

The Eagles finished with a four win, 11 loss, one tie record from the season and failed to make the post-season.

Eagles chairman Jeffrey Lurie says he believes it is in both of their best interests to part ways.

Before adding that they look forward to the day he is inducted into the Eagles hall-of-fame as a Super Bowl winning head coach.
