LeToya Luckett and Tommicus Walker have announced they are to divorce

The former Destiny's Child singer and her spouse - who have Tysun, four months, and Gianna Iman, two, together - have decided to call time on their marriage, just three years after they walked down the aisle

LeToya, 39, admitted it was a "very prayerful consideration" to terminate their marriage and they will now focus on being the best co-parents to their two kids.

Alongside her statement and a picture of the family, she wrote on Instagram: "Love always", with a pink heartbroken emoji.

The note reads: "After very prayerful consideration, Tommicus and I have decided to get a divorce.

"It is my deepest desire for us to be loving co-parents and keep a peaceful environment out of respect for our children.

"Please understand our need for privacy. Thank you in advance for your prayers, support & space to heal as we tread through this challenging time."

The 40-year-old entrepreneur also posted his own statement, which mirrored LeToyah's commitment to co-parenting.

He added: "We remain committed to our family as co-parents and we ask that you please respect our privacy and the safety of our children at this time.

"We happily remain committed as caring friends with great love and respect for one another."

The pair's decision to divorce comes just four months after they welcomed their second child.

Announcing their new arrival, Tommicus wrote in September: "God, thank you for blessing our son to arrive healthy, strong, & full of light," Walker wrote on Instagram then. "Very proud moment for us. Looking forward to the memories we create & the dad/son talks. Love you little King Tysun (sic)"

LeToya and Tommicus got hitched in December 2017 at the Villa Antonia mansion in Texas Hills Country, after he surprised her by getting down on one knee on his birthday.

She announced at the time: "I said , " Yes yeeeesssss" on his Burfday!! #issaengagement #GodShowedout #HesaGoodManSavanah #LoveWins #8/16/17 (sic)"

Their engagement came just a year after LeToya divorced her first husband Rob Hillman after just two months of marriage.
