    A kitchen hand charged with murder after the discovery of a body has not sought name suppression


    Martin Berry was found dead in Papanui yesterday morning.

    55 year old Rena Joyce, who also goes by her maiden name, Maloney, has appeared in court this morning.

    Herald reporter Anna Leask was in the Christchurch District Court.

    She says it is understood Joyce is the partner of Martin Berry.

    Joyce has been remanded in custody until her next appearance on February 4.
