The Government is boosting investment in environment focused jobs by 34 million dollars

The Government is boosting investment in environment focused jobs by 34 million dollars

It's part of the 1.2 billion dollar Jobs for Nature Covid-19 recovery package, aimed at providing nature-based job opportunities for 11 thousand people over the next four years.

It should create more than 400 jobs in ecology, restoration, trapping and pest control.

Conservation Minister Kiri Allan says the funding is available to conservation groups and landowners.
