    A Brisbane Uber driver who took his passenger to a secluded area and raped her could be deported to New Zealand when he is released from jail


    Sakaria Taufao was sentenced to seven years in prison, after raping an 18-year-old girl in Ipswich, near Brisbane in 2015.

    Despite being sentenced to seven jail years for his offending, Taufao has already served three and a half of it and is now eligible for parole.

    He faces deportation to New Zealand when released.
