Eliza McCartney has pulled out of her much-anticipated pole vault comeback at the Potts Classic in Hastings, despite getting through warm-ups

She hasn't competed since August 2019 because of a persistent Achilles tendon problem, but continues her quest to qualify for this year's Tokyo Olympics.

Eddie Osei-Nketia was beaten in the 100 metres by Tiaan Whelpton.

Shot putters Tom Walsh and Dame Valerie Adams were victorious.
