Priyanka Chopra Jonas says starting a family has “always been part of [her] dreams”

The ‘White Tiger’ star has confessed she’s keen to start the next chapter of her life with her husband Nick Jonas by having a baby, but says she isn’t going to be picky when it comes to how many children they have, as she wants to leave those decisions in the hands of a higher power

When asked about her family plans during an appearance on E!’s ‘Daily Pop’, she said: “A family is a big part of my life, it’s always been part of my dreams. I’ll take what I get. Leave it up to the God almighty.”

The news comes after Priyanka, 38, recently said she wants a “cricket team” of children with her Jonas Brothers beau.

She said: “A cricket team! I do want children, as many as I can have. A cricket team? I’m not so sure.”

But the actress also confessed she’s currently focusing on her career, so isn’t putting any pressure on herself to have a baby right now.

She added: "Right now I have my other babies coming out - my book and my movies and my TV show. It's taken me 10 years of pounding the pavement in America to be at a place where I'm doing the kind of work I was looking for. I'm sort of revelling in the amazing work I'm doing. I think that's my priority at the moment."

Meanwhile, the ‘Baywatch’ star confessed to being "shocked" by how "bold" Nick was when they first met.

The loved-up duo connected on Twitter and later met in person at an Oscars afterparty in 2017.

She said: "I was shocked by his audaciousness, actually. He held my hand, he turned me around. I was like, 'What is happening?' He was bold, confident, self-assured.

“And that was the most attractive thing about Nick and still is for me. But I was so taken in. Our courtship was such a short time. I just rode the wave because I trusted him.

"I'm someone who likes to have a sense of control, but he's the only one I don't feel like I need to do that with. I feel protected, calm."
