Queenstown's economy is expected to be the worst hit by Covid-19

Queenstown's economy is expected to be the worst hit by Covid-19

An Infometrics report anticipates the region will lose nine-thousand jobs by next year.

It also suggests the local economy will take a 785-million dollar hit.

But, Senior Economist Gareth Kiernan says that could change.

He says the way the New Zealand economy has been performing, it has exceeded expectations.
