A big pot of government money to fix Christchurch's quake-damaged roads is up for grabs

The city council is inviting residents in five neighbourhoods to pick out where 30-million dollars should go to improve roads and footpaths.
It will be spent in parts of Richmond, New Brighton, Riccarton and the wider Linwood and Spreydon areas.
Transport manager Lynette Ellis says residents will help them spot local bug bears.
But there's concern among some councillors, that the business case was made to get the money before, and it should be spent now.
