The UK may have changed the ride-share industry forever with a brand new law

Its Supreme Court has ruled Uber drivers are employees of a company - so are entitled to benefits such as sick leave and minimum wage.
Currently Uber drivers are deemed contractors.
Employment law expert Max Whitehead says it could have a massive effect on contractors' rights here.
He says if our Supreme Court did the same thing, it would have a huge ripple effect through New Zealand's economy.
