Life on the farm with her family is Rebecca Mahoney's main priority

Life on the farm with her family is Rebecca Mahoney's main priority

The former Black Fern has retired from rugby refereeing.

Mahoney was the first woman to officiate a first class Heartland match, a Mitre 10 Cup match, and a Ranfurly Shield challenge.

The 37-year-old, who is based in the Tararua District, says this year looked extremely busy and uncertain, and it didn't suit with her busy life on the farm.
