Concerns the term "high risk group" is far too narrow

The government has outlined four groups in its vaccine rollout plan - with border workers and their families already starting to get the jab.

But, an article in the New Zealand Medical Journal expresses concerns there are people in certain workplaces who won't be vaccinated until the second quarter of 2021.

Auckland University Professor of Medicine Des Gorman says people at risk who need to be further up the queue.

He says when someone gets sick they go to the supermarket and they go to the pharmacy -- so there's a wide range of occupational at risk groups.
