Canterbury District Health Board is apologising after a coding error meant vaccine patients were able to see the personal details of other people booking their vaccine appointment.
A person's name, gender, age and NHI number could be seen -- but no personal health details.
Malaghan Institute of Medical Research Director, Professor Graham Le Gros says not everything will go according to plan.
