    Good news for those wanting a career change


    Trade Me jobs data shows listings are up 22 percent year-on-year for the last quarter.

    Construction, roading and manufacturing jobs show the biggest surge.

    But Beyond Recruitment General Manager, Ben Pearson, says there's a massive shortage of people throughout the IT, technology, digital and retail procurement sectors.

    He says its a candidate short market with more jobs out there than people to fill them.
