Our vaccine rollout won't change despite comments today by Pfizer's CEO

Our vaccine rollout won't change despite comments today by Pfizer's CEO

Albert Bourla said some people may need a third dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine along with yearly boosters.

However Medsafe says Bourla's comments are speculation and not backed by data.

They say it won't affect how the vaccine is administered in New Zealand.

Vaccinologist Graham Le Gros says we should be cautious - and we need to be careful when making future projections about the vaccine.
