Liverpool football manager Jurgen Klopp has dismissed speculation he could resign in protest over his club's decision to sign up for the European Super League

Liverpool football manager Jurgen Klopp has dismissed speculation he could resign in protest over his club's decision to sign up for the European Super League

Outrage has predominated across the UK after news Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are joining other European sides in a breakaway competition.

Klopp doesn't agree with the decision by the club's owners, but insists he's not quitting.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has opted for neutrality.

Less neutral is former Manchester United and England footballer Gary Neville.

He says the clubs enjoy the money that comes from playing in the Champions League, and want to ensure they can guarantee that, even if their teams aren't qualified to play at that level.
