The Wellington batsman is in Southampton with the Black Caps test squad, who are confined to hotel isolation for three days before they can start small group trainings.
Ravindra says he doesn't have a bat in his room, so instead of shadow batting in front of a mirror, he's been throwing the Duke around.
Both Ravindra and Otago bowler Jacob Duffy have a chance to make their debut for the New Zealand test side with two matches against England at the start of next month, followed by the World Test Championship final.
