    An Auckland man has been sentenced to a minimum of 15 years behind bars for the murder of a man who's body was cut up and found in a freezer


    Denver Chance was murdered in February 2019.

    Jay Christopher Lingman was found guilty of his murder earlier this year and has been sentenced today. .

    Chance's mother, Paula McGregor, has read a victim impact statement to the High Court in Auckland.

    She says the drug dealer who killed her son is an evil, self-absorbed person who deprived many people of a beautiful friend.
