The Warriors have withdrawn from this year's NRL women's premiership, but are vowing to return in 2022

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

The club has finished third in each of the first three seasons, but last year had to field a largely Australian squad due to border closures.

CEO Cameron George says it was an exceptionally difficult decision to make, but says the key factor is the Covid-19 pandemic continuing to have a serious impact on the club.

George says they are fully committed to being part of a revamped and expanded NRLW next season.
