    Two people have been arrested after reports of a shot being fired in Palmerston North

    Two people have been arrested after reports of a shot being fired in Palmerston North


    Police were called to Milson Line just before 11am.

    The Armed Offenders Squad was called in after the suspects fled the scene.

    Several nearby schools were closed while officers hunted for those involved.

    They're continuing to investigate whether anyone else was involved and what charges the arrested pair will face.

    No one was injured.
