New Zealand's avocado industry is enjoying success while it lasts

New Zealand's avocado industry is enjoying success while it lasts

The last season saw the industry rake in more than 227 million dollars.

International exports accounted for more than 160 million, with Australias bad season making them the biggest customer.

However NZ Avocado CEO Jen Scoular says now that Australia can start fresh, we may face some struggles ahead.

She says they will put more volume into Asia which will be challenging because of freight disruption and the inability to travel.
