New Zealand's housing market is still holding strong

Real Estate Institute figures show median house prices increased by 32.3 percent in the year to May - to reach 820-thousand dollars.
Auckland, Taranaki, Tasman and Canterbury reached record prices.
Acting chief executive Wendy Alexander says lack of supply is the cause.
She says the houses that are across the market are selling quickly, with competition significant and high.
