A record number of New Zealanders are flying into Queenstown, for the July school holidays

A record number of New Zealanders are flying into Queenstown, for the July school holidays

Over 600 domestic flights and 250 trans-Tasman flights have been scheduled for the two weeks.

Even so, Queenstown Airport's Sara Irvine says without international visitors there is still an overall drop.

It means the 2019 July holidays still hold the record for the largest number of travellers overall.
