Warriors able to get on despite news of NZ and Australia's withdrawal from Rugby League World Cup

To take a step back from the Olympics for a second... the Warriors have been able to get on with business despite the news of New Zealand and Australia's withdrawal from this year's Rugby League World Cup

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

As the club prepared for today's clash with South Sydney, it was announced Thursday the two transtasman countries had pulled out of the tournament citing safety concerns amid Covid-19.

But Warriors assistant coach Craig Hodges admits the news has barely done the rounds this week.

Kick-off between the Warriors and the Rabbitohs from the Sunshine Coast is at 5pm.
