A new aviation emergency support plan in Otago has achieved lift-off

Emergency Management Otago and Fire and Emergency New Zealand has agreed to collaborate on air operations across the region, following major natural disasters.

Emergency Management Otago Manager Matt Alley says it will give the ability to find the most efficient use of limited resources.

He says the plan gives a strong level of understanding between key stakeholders.
