    Police have found two guns and arrested three people after reports of an armed carjacking in South Auckland


    The trio are alleged to have forced a pair out of their car and fled while being chased by police about 11-am, near Papakura.

    A short time later - the speeding car smashed into another vehicle carrying a mother and two children.

    The offenders attempted to flee again on foot... but Police appeared quickly on the scene and arrested one person.

    The remaining two were caught soon after

    Two guns were found in the car.

    A police spokesperson says there were no serious injuries - but a child is in Middlemore Hospital for observation.
