    Another top night on the bike for Kiwi track cyclist Ellesse Andrews, who's through to the next stage of the women's sprint at the Tokyo Olympics


    Andrews was forced to battle it out in a repechage, which she won comfortably against her Chinese opponent.

    She races for a spot in the quarterfinals ride at the Izu velodrome at 6:33 this evening.



    Lydia Ko enters the final day of the women's Olympic golf tournament well in contention for a medal.

    The Kiwi is in a four-way tie for third at 10 under par overall, two shots off a possible silver medal.

    The fourth and final round is due to get underway at 9:30.



    Team Canada has claimed its first ever Olympic gold medal in women's football.

    The gold medal match against Sweden ended 1-all, with the Canadians prevailing 3-2 on penalty kicks.



    American Allyson Felix has become the most decorated female track and field athlete in history.

    She's won bronze in the women's 400 metres in Tokyo, her 10th Olympic medal.
