An early start to Saturday for Aucklanders desperate to get Covid-19 tests

Hundreds of cars are already lining up at some community testing stations around the city.

It comes as locations of interests related to our Covid outbreak continues to grow...

There are currently 206 visits to 166 different locations in Auckland, Wellington and the Coromandel.

NZ Herald reporter Adam Pearse was at the Henderson testing centre, and says one group left home at 3am to get a spot in line.

He says the demand for testing hasn't abated -- with a line of about 250 cars at the West Auckland site.
