    An added bonus for American Patrick Cantlay winning the penultimate PGA Tour playoff tournament in Maryland


    Not only has he surged to the top of the Fed Ex Cup standings and will start with a two shot lead on 10 under par at this week's Tour Championship, he's now guaranteed a place on the US Ryder Cup team for the first time.



    The Ryder Cup takes place in Wisconsin next month.
