Some motorists are travelling at speed near Auckland's regional checkpoints

Each has a temporary speed limit of 60 kilometres an hour -- reducing to 30 on the approach to checkpoints.
Police have seen some topping 100 kilometres an hour.
As of 3.30pm yesterday, more than 21-thousand vehicles have been stopped at the 10 checkpoints north and south of Auckland.
Over the entire lockdown, more than 19-thousand have been stopped at the five southern checkpoints - with 715 turned away.
