The German has gone down in the last four to top seed and Serbian Novak Djokovic in five sets, prolonging Zverev's wait for a maiden Grand Slam title.
He says there's a reason Djokovic has won 20 majors, and is seeking a record-breaking 21st on Monday.
Djokovic will face second seeded Russian Daniil Medvedev in the decider who today defeated Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets.
