Signs are pointing to a rise in the Official Cash Rate by the end of the year

The latest ASB housing confidence survey has found 54 per cent of respondents believe interest rates will continue to journey upwards.
That's up from 20 per cent of respondents just three months ago.
ASB Chief Economist Nick Tuffley says that's quite a rapid turn around.
He believes the Reserve Bank is ready to pull the interest rate trigger, not withstanding the lockdown, so it's likely we will see the OCR go up by the end of this year.
