    It's been a long time since Bay of Plenty have held the Ranfurly Shield - and they have a shot at securing it this afternoon


    The Steamers are taking on Hawke's Bay in Napier in rugby's NPC.

    The last time the Steamers won the Log O' Wood was in 2004 against Auckland.

    Assistant coach Mike Delany says they haven't had much luck when it comes to playing in shield challenges, so they need to make the most of the opportunity.



    Kick off's at 2.05pm.
