Health officials are calling on people in the Auckland suburb of Mt Wellington to get a Covid-19 test

Health officials are calling on people in the Auckland suburb of Mt Wellington to get a Covid-19 test

It's been added to the list of suburbs of interest where covid cases have been found.

Pop-up testing centres have been set up in Mount Wellington at the netball centre at Fergusson Drive, and Mount Smart Stadium.

Mangere, Manurewa, Favona and Otara remain on the list of suburbs of interest-- while Mt Eden, Massey and Papatoetoe have been removed.

There were 15 community cases of Covid-19 yesterday, all in Auckland.

There have been 14 unlinked cases in the past fortnight.

On the vaccine front ... 80 per cent of the eligible Auckland population has now had one dose, and 40 per cent of the New Zealand population is fully vaccinated.
