In the United States, the former police officer convicted of killing George Floyd plans to appeal his conviction and sentence

Court documents reveal Derek Chauvin intends to appeal on 14 grounds - including accusing the judge of abusing his discretion by denying a request to moved the trial because of publicity
Chauvin was convicted earlier this year on murder and manslaughter charges and sentenced to 22 and a half years in jail.
