A by Maori for Maori approach may the best way to boost vaccination rates

The Government says it'll unveil specific measures on Friday, but did reveal 45.7 percent of Covid cases in the past two weeks were Maori.

Minister Kiri Allan says when it comes to getting vaccinated...it's clear some communities won't respond to politicians...but will to those close to them.

She says as a Government, they need to empower people who have access to places they don't.
