More details have emerged about the truck driver who tested positive for Covid-19 in Christchurch

Move Logistics executive director Chris Dunphy has confirmed the driver works for Toll Group - and had been delivering bulk goods between two warehouses.

He says the driver was at it's Lion Hornby warehouse site on Tuesday and Wednesday last week - and was asymptomatic at the time.

Dunphy says once Move was made aware - all team members on the site were tested, and have since returned a negative test.

The site has been closed and deep-cleaned as a precaution and is expected to re-open on Monday.
